Whistling Tailpipe Gag: For your Grandma's Dodge.

When I was about 12, the family rented a cabin up at Birch Bay, there was a little amusement park there with a novelty shop.

My Grandma came down from Bellingham to visit, I couldn't resist putting one of these whistling devices on her little Dodge Dart.

The one thing I overlooked; Grandma was somewhat deaf. She drove off with the exhaust whistle and I never saw it again.

If your intended target for this joke isn't hard of hearing, it's a great gag that will make them wonder what the deal is. I might take one to get a better deal on my next used car(?)

It's actually pretty loud, maybe she was just trying to teach me a lesson. And look how well I turned out.
