2.5" tall count up, count down, all purpose minute and second timer. I call mine "Eggbert".
If you look at it from behind you would think some robotic bird laid an egg.
Alarm sounds for up to one minute or press any button to turn off, after which the kitchen timer returns to the preset time.
When counting up, after reaching 99:59, the display starts over from 00:00 again. So don't figure on timing the movie "Titanic" or the song "Stairway to Heaven" with it.
It's good for all sorts of cooking, kid's time-outs or whatnot. And it looks cool.
Uses one AAA battery you provide. The "shell" is made of food safe plastic.
